Situated in sundergarh District balishankara block Nearly 30- 40 kms far from sundergarh...U clearly found kanhakund( GRAND CANYON OF ODISHA) because of Signboard...so don't worry about it...Place is very beautiful n Nyc..For picnic purpose, enjoy the nature...Vibing with frnds n family...Beware ...Bcoz many people slips into the water...so be careful...Road construction is going on..
Nice place for picnic but be alert near river area.
You could find it tough to move around due to the stepping stones but the place is full of awesome views and structures. Winter's best to visit the place because you could get a heat stroke rightaway due to direct sun rays over your head and the temperature absorbed by the stone and sand below.
This is placed on the river IB. Kanakund is known as the grand Canyon of Odisha. Though few people know about the location. But it is a very beautiful and dangerous place.
